Simons Ottawa, a captivating fashion store where carefully picked brands, inviting displays, interesting interior decoration, great art, immersive music and amazing personnel blend together into a hypnotizing shopping experience.
I like Simons primarily because of the clothes whose design shows something from the past but in a more modern form.
There are a lot of different brands under one roof but they go together. Everything is selected and placed in such a way that it makes an amazing whole.
It has a great impact on me, I seem to be hypnotized. Everything, the whole environment is stylistically coherent.
I also mean the store itself. Eg the very fact that there is this great sculptural installation Torrential Red by Shayne Dark that you can enjoy going up on down on the elevator. It is incredible.
The experience of being in the store is very interesting. Eg there are those soft sofas that you can rest or get a closer look at the item you intend to purchase.
The clothes are nicely arranged and displayed. They form a really aesthetically fine environment.
It is the first store in which the personnel give you your purchased goods personally in front of the counter.
The third thing is that the staff is so wonderfully racially diversified and they are so courteous and professional.
Fitting rooms are so cosy.
Also what takes in the store is the music. It is superbly selected. Every time I am there it is simply awesome.
I like the store so much that I can entirely immerse myself there. I am very impressed by the designers, their designs, all the details and patterns. Sometimes I feel like just taking pictures there.
I am sure that the people who select the goods for the store appreciate art, because the goods border on art. I sometimes feel that they got there straight from the fashion runway.
